Handmade Realistic Charcoal Drawings.

What My Art Means

  • My Mission

Art is how I observe and advocate. Through charcoal, I explore what is native, wild, and at risk of being forgotten.

  • Why Charcoal?

Charcoal is primal. It’s soot and earth. It forces you to look closely, to see every detail in stark black and white.

  • Art in Conservation

I believe art can slow people down long enough to care. My charcoal drawings celebrate native species and ecosystems.

About the Artist

My name is Keri Russell. I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember, it’s always been a part of who I am. After stepping away for a few years, I’ve found my way back with a renewed passion and perspective.

Based in Tifton, Georgia, I work primarily in charcoal, drawn to its bold simplicity and emotional depth.
